Advices and Suggestions for
Laying Easy Cotto

 1) Laying:   Tiles can be laid with both cement mortar or bonding agent, respecting standard
procedures and closely following the points noted below.

 2) Caliber:  Because of the technique of production and the high baking temperatures,
"Easy Cotto" tiles are subject to slight differences in caliber (size/tck).
Therefore it is essential that tiles are laid leaving a gap of 8-10 mm in order to
compensate for these slight differences and give to the flooring an harmonious
and pleasant aspect. It is suggested to mix the tiles from different boxes

                     considering their slight tone differences.

 3) Grouting & Filling:  Grouting of the joints should be carried out at least one day after the
tiles have been laid. It is advised to utilize a ready to use sealing agent, closely
                     following the manufacturer's instructions.

 4) Cleaning & Washing:  Cleaning of joints should be carried when the grout has still not
completely hardened, in order to allow any residual material to be removed. It's
advised to use a sponge for this operation. After a few days, when the joints
have totally hardened, the flooring must be washed with an acid solution.

 5) Treatment:  "Easy Cotto" and tiles do not require treatment. If, however, flooring needs
to present a more shining appearance, a thin layer of wax can be applied.

 6) Maintenance:  Wash with a damp cloth using water additional of normal detergent.

NOTE:        The indications noted in this brochure correspond to our direct experience and
knowledge in this field and should be followed in order to provide the best
possible use of the described product. However, considering the wide variety of
conditions of application, these suggestions should be considered as indicative
                      only.
Minute holes can appear on the surface. This is not a defect but an effect of
                      single fusing.

Complaints:  It should be noted that standard rules state that any complaints should be
submitted to producers before the material is laid. Any complaints made after
the material has been laid will not be taken in consideration.
